• In 6 months, $ 25 billion is the volume of trade between Saudi Arabia and China

    In Aleqtisadiah, Li Hua Hin, the Chinese ambassador in Riyadh, said that the number of Chinese companies in Saudi Arabia is up to 152 companies. He pointed out that trade exchange between the two countries has reached 24.5 billion dollars during the first half of 2018, with an annual increase of 14 percent.

     

    Ambassador Hua Hin said that the volume of Saudi imports from China has reached seven billion dollars since the beginning of this year so far, ranging from textile, machinery, building materials, etc., He stressed the China's pledge to be a strong and reliable partner to the Kingdom.

    He noted China's intention to invest in a huge petrochemical plant in the Jazan region. He pointed out that its initial investments are up to one billion dollars and the final is about $ 3.5 billion. He is hoping that this project would start in 2019, as well as another tire factory.

     

    Hua Hin stressed, on the sidelines of the opening of the China Treasures Exhibition this week at the National Museum, the importance of the exhibition in promoting the distinguished relations between the Kingdom and China in various fields.

    He highlighted the great cooperation between the two countries in the field of archeology, museums and archeological excavations, where there is a Chinese mission within the international missions operating in the Kingdom in the field of archaeological discoveries.

    He pointed out that the exhibition was held masterpieces of the Kingdom in Beijing in 2016, which has received widespread attention from the Chinese. It was an important event for relations between the two countries after the visit of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Chinese president.

     

    The exhibition, which runs until November 23, 2018, will include a collection of archaeological remains and historical monuments collected from ten Chinese museums.

    The exhibits range from pottery, bronze, jade, porcelain, gold, silver, port and many other Chinese treasures.

    The exhibition aims at introducing the growth of Chinese civilization and showing the social life, culture and arts of Chinese civilizations over thousands of years.

    It is an extension of cooperation in the field of antiquities between the Kingdom and the Republic of China, within the framework of the joint cooperation agreement between the Kingdom represented by the General Authority for Tourism and National Heritage, and the Republic of China represented in the State Administration of Chinese Cultural Heritage, in the field of antiquities, which include cooperation in archaeological research, antiquities exhibitions and museum activities.​
